Payback Tour – Week 8, Sunday

Workout: 2 miles @ 6:30 pace; core work (50%). Weather: 70 degrees, cloudy, drizzle.

Recap: That was a lot harder than it should have been. I’m not one for mystery, so naturally I wonder what went wrong there. Going to make sure I’m eating enough today. Popcorn and apples didn’t get it done for me yesterday. Started slow and had to start hauling tail around the 0.25-mile mark. Legs felt like bricks at the 1.5-mile point. Thankful this wasn’t a 3-miler and grateful that it wasn’t the time trial day. Ick.

On the bright side…new resting HR low….42! Consistency paying off.
